Membership

Membership in the Association is open to all persons, corporations, partnerships, firms, associations or groups who believe in and accept the aims and purposes of the Association and who, in the judgment of the Board of Management are willing and able to carry out their obligations and responsibilities.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

VOTING:
HONORARY The honorary membership is awarded to individuals of distinction who have achieved concrete and specific contribution towards the attainment of the ideals and goals of the mental health movement.
CHARTER Charter members are the incorporators of the Association and those who joined within one hundred (100) days after the first regular meeting.
LIFE Life members are individuals who contribute three thousand pesos (Php 3,000.00) or more.
CORPORATE Corporate membership is for corporations who contribute one hundred thousand (Php 100,000.00) pesos or more.  Corporate membership has a term of ten (10) years and can be renewed after such term.  The incumbent President of the Corporation or any person within the executive level so designated by the president can represent the corporation in the exercise of the privileges of membership.
SUSTAINING Sustaining members are those who are supporting the programs and projects of the Association with a contribution of at least Two Thousand (Php 2,000.00) Pesos annually.
CONTRIBUTING Contributing members are individuals who pay an annual membership fee of three hundred pesos (Php 300.00) only.
REGULAR PROFESSIONAL –  Members who pay an annual membership fee of two hundred pesos (Php 200.00) only.
NON VOTING:
 PYAMH COLLEGE STUDENTS –  College student who pays an annual membership fee of fifty pesos (Php 70.00) only.
 JUNIOR  Junior membership is open  to  youth and children who are eighteen years old and below and he/she shall pay an annual membership fee of twenty (Php 20.00) pesos only.

Privileges of a member:

  • Access to reprints of papers/articles on mental health including research studies conducted by the Association.
  • Invitation to educational activities like seminar-workshops, trainings, lectures, fora, etc.
  • A copy of FOCUS on Mental Health, a bi-annual publication of the Association. (voting members only)
  • Involvement in mental health committees on education and clinical services. (for voting members only)
